My son was having a bad toothache and I walked over to the Pelican Dental Office and asked for an emergency appointment. They treated my son in a very professional manner and found the receptionist extremely helpful. We were given an estimate of repairs and my son was treated that same day and follow up appointment Also really appreciated the clean and safe environment. I would highly recommend the Pelican Dental doctor and staff for dental care.

I can never recommend enough Pelican Dental. My family have been patients here since they are brand new open. Dr Choi and her staffs are very professional, details and caring. She is very knowledgeable about what she does. The facility is 10 out of 10, super clean and hygienic. All the equipments are modern and up to date. My husband and I have been seen by Dr Choi over the past 10 years. Her office used to located in LA and then we found out about her new dental office in Redondo beach. We were so ecstatic! Dr Choi is professional, honest and most importantly very competent . Her knowledge and skill are up to date and she is one of the few dentists who offers laser dental treatments. We are now taking our boys to Dr Choi for pediatric dental service as well. So happy to have a dentist that our family can trust.

Both the dentists and staff are super nice and friendly. Dr. Choi knows very well how to handle young patients. Also both dentists are very professional, honest, and experienced dentist. Pelican Dental is hands down the best Dentistry I've been to. Brand new facility, state of the art technology, very accommodating for children as well. I've been a patient of Dr. Haewon Choi for quite some time now, and we've covered a lot of ground from orthodontics (invisalign) to fillings to cosmetic and general cleaning. I am extremely glad that Pelican Dental is here in the South Bay, and it looks like I'm due for another visit soon.

Meet Dr. Haewon Choi, DDS, and her two girls, who inspire her to practice dentistry that promotes healing and whole-body, whole-family health.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. Her scope of general dentistry includes pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, and airway dentistry.

She actively participates in continuing education programs to provide the most up-to-date dentistry and cutting-edge technology to patients of all ages.

He received Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and periodontology residency from University of Southern California Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. He also completed prosthodontics residency from Dankook University in Korea.
